The Terex AL-5L is a 8 kW generator powered LED light tower with four lights, a 30' (9.14 m) lift height, and 359-degree non-continuous tower rotation for precision light positioning. The AL-5L has (4) 270 watt, individually adjustable and heat resistant LED lights for reducing glare, instant on/off operation and extended bulb life (up to 50,000 hours).

Powerful Operation
The tower operates on a brushless 60 Hz 8.0 kW generator, with a Kubota diesel 13.6 hp engine, and a 30 gallon (114 L) tank for up to 90 hours of continuous use. The engine has an operational temperature range of -40 to 105 degrees F, and it is protected with standard high water temperature and low oil pressure shutdowns.
Safe, Weatherproof Design
The tower has a self-braking, erecting and extending hand operated winch mounted inside the cabinet, and the control panel is located inside the panel for protection from the elements. The power cord is protected by a rotatable mast sleeve which is automatically recoils when raising or lowering the tower. The AL-5L has (1) 30A/240V TL and (4) 15A/120V GFI receptacles, and light fixtures that plug into a waterproof box with UL and CSA approved connectors.
Easy to Load and Transport
The AL-5L has a 2" ring hitch, a single point lifting eye, fork lift pockets for hard to access job sites, and galvanized outriggers with pre-set position stops to ensure proper spacing. The light tower sets on (2) 15" (38 cm) wheels, weighs 2,828 lbs (1,285 kg) with no fuel, has an axle rating of 3,500 lbs (1,591), and the cabinet is protected with a fade resistant finish for protection. Department of Transportation (DoT) approved tail lights are affixed to the back of the tower for safe transporation.
